One of two centers built simultaneously for Platte County, this center, located in Parkville, Missouri, is 53,700 sq. ft. on two stories. The Natatorium includes a pool with three lap-lanes and a zero-entry recreation pool with water slide, vortex, whirlpool, water play features, sauna and steam room. Other amenities in the building include a wellness center, adventure center, kids’ gym, indoor playground, short-term child watch area, full gymnasium, a multipurpose room, lounge, 1/8th mile elevated running/walking track, and two aerobics/multi-use studios. WNB provided pre-design through post design services including interior design, equipment selection and layout and specifications assistance for project FF&E packages.
Phase II included an indoor 4-lane x 25-yard pool, cardio and strength training expansion, personal training, additional studios, generational center expansion and child watch/adventure center expansion. The building’s total square footage now exceeds 74,000 sq. ft.
