Platte County North
Community Center  

One of two community centers constructed simultaneously, the north center is located in Platte City and is 30,000 sq. ft. on one story. Both of the new facilities are benefiting from collaboration between the County which will own them, and the YMCA of Greater Kansas City which will operate them.

This center includes a natatorium with two lap-lanes and a zero entry lap pool with water slide, water features, sauna and steam room.  Other amenities include a wellness center, track, massage room, indoor playground, short-term child watch area, small gymnasium, a lounge and an outdoor sprayground.

Plans for future expansion include a full gymnasium.
